Programs for Parents, Child Care Workers and Preschool Teachers
Much of brain development is occurring in the first years of life. Training those who interact with young children about children's brain development and how to facilitate the development of sturdy brain pathways that children will have the rest of their lives is essential for building strong communities. The overall goal of Working For Kids: Building Skills™ is to embed young children in communities where the process of how experiences shape brain development and methods for helping young children develop social-emotional, language, and problem-solving skills are well understood by adults who see children everyday, and the resources are available to help promote children's skill development.
See Training Programs Descriptions and Training Resources for full descriptions of Working For Kids: Building Skills™ programs and resources.
